The low-temperature vacuum dryer is specifically designed for drying heat-sensitive materials that are prone to decomposition, polymerization, or deterioration at high temperatures. It allows for pre-disinfection of the material and ensures no impurities are introduced during the drying process. As a static vacuum dryer, it preserves the shape of the dried material and is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, chemicals, and electronics.
The operation principle involves heating and drying the material under vacuum conditions. A vacuum pump is used to remove moisture, thereby increasing the drying rate. When the temperature is kept constant, increasing the vacuum level enhances the drying speed. Conversely, if the vacuum level remains unchanged, raising the temperature also accelerates the process. Combining both methods can significantly boost efficiency. If a condenser is used, solvents can be recovered. With certain vacuum pump models like the SK series water ring or ZSWJ series water jet pump, a condenser may not be necessary.
