Diaphragm valves: Manual or air actuated. These are specially designed for hygienic and aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry. This valve is excellent for controlling and on/off fluid flow.
Diaphragms seal the valve body and seat, ensuring no contact with the environment. This makes it suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is closed, the pressure seal that holds up the diaphragm moves toward the sealing face of the valve body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends, forcing it toward the center seat area, thus shutting off the flow path. The interaction between the valve body and pressure plate prevents the diaphragm from being pressed. The valve can be operated manually, pneumatically, or via control top and solenoid valve.
It is widely applied to many fields, such as beer, beverage, dairy food, fruit juice, pharmacy, biological, etc.
