Deformation law of surrounding rock in soft rock roadway

1 The surrounding rock deformation of soft rock roadway has obvious time effect. It shows that the initial deformation speed is very large, and the deformation tends to be stable, and the rheology is still generated at a large speed, and the duration is long. If effective support measures are not taken, the deformation of the surrounding rock will increase sharply, which will inevitably lead to instability and damage of the roadway.

2 Soft rock roadway is mostly characterized by circumferential compression and asymmetry. In the soft rock roadway, not only the deformation of the roof is easy to fall, but also the bottom plate also produces a strong bottom sill, which causes the two ruins to collapse the roof.

3 The deformation of surrounding rock in soft rock roadway increases with the increase of buried depth, and there is a critical depth of softening. The deformation exceeding critical depth increases sharply.

4 The surrounding rock deformation of soft rock roadway has obvious directionality under different stresses. The roadway has poor self-stability and short self-stabilization time.
