India's domestic low temperature engine has completed verification test

Nair, chairman of the Indian Aerospace Research Organization, said that India has completed the verification test of the domestic low-temperature upper stage (engine) and will soon conduct flight tests on the upper stage. India's independent development of the low-temperature upper stage is mainly to replace the Russian-made low-temperature grade used in its synchronous orbit satellite launch vehicle (GSLV).

At present, only five countries in the world, such as the United States, Russia, France, China and Japan, can use low-temperature engines to launch rockets. The successful development of Indian domestic low-temperature engines will make it into the ranks.
