Application
The butterfly valve is a flow control device designed to start or stop fluid flow through a section of pipe. It is widely used in stainless steel piping systems for industries such as food, beverage, dairy, brewing, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and chemical sectors.
Materials
· Body Materials:	AISI-304 or AISI-316L
· Gasket Material:	Silicon, EPDM, Viton, NBR
· Valve seat and gasket comply with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 standards.
Standard Design
· Available Standards:	DIN, 3A, SMS, ISO / IDF, BS / RJT, and ASME / BPE.
· Sizes available from DN15 to DN250 (1" to 10").
· End Connections:	Butt-weld, Clamp, Male Nut, Liner, Flange, or other upon request.
· Handle:	Plastic pull handle (2-4 positions) or plastic/stainless steel squeeze handle (13 positions).
· Actuator:	Pneumatic stainless steel actuator (vertical type), pneumatic aluminum actuator (horizontal type), or electric actuator.
· Control Options:	Position sensor, C-top controller, C-top Controller (AS-). Manual handle, pneumatic actuator, and electric actuator are interchangeable.
Technical Specifications
· Max Pressure:	10 bar (145 psi) for DN25–100, 8 bar (120 psi) for DN125–150.
· Temperature Range:	14–248°F (-10–120°C), with EPDM seal.
· Surface Treatment:	Ra 16–32 µin (0.4–0.8 µm).
· Supply pressure for air actuator: 70–115 psi.
