Diaphragm valves are manually or air actuated and specially designed for hygienic and aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry. This valve is ideal for controlling and on/off fluid flow.
The diaphragm seals the valve body and seat, ensuring no contact with the environment. It is suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is closed, the pressure seal that holds the diaphragm moves towards the sealing face of the valve body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends and is forced toward the center of the body seat, effectively shutting off the flow path. The design prevents the diaphragm from being pressed. The valve can be operated manually, pneumatically, or via a control top and solenoid valve.
It is widely applied to many fields, such as beer, beverage, dairy food, fruit juice, pharmacy, biological, etc.
