Recently, the author learned from a Harbin Changye Chang'an Auto 4S shop that in response to the national initiative to promote automotive development in rural areas, Chang'an has launched a special purchase campaign for its mini-vehicle series. This initiative offers a preferential policy of 5,000 yuan on top of the 10% state subsidies, and under certain conditions, customers can enjoy up to 10,000 yuan in total subsidies.
Chang'an Automobile highlighted that with strong government support for the auto industry, its mini-vehicle segment has achieved impressive results in the first five months of this year. At the recent Chongqing Auto Show, the company showcased its flagship models, demonstrating its technological leadership and product quality. This move also reinforced Chang'an's position as a leader in bringing quality vehicles to rural markets.

**Cars Go to the Countryside: Promoting a New Chapter in Chang’an’s Grand Blueprint**
Through active participation in the automobile industry, Chang'an Mini-Vehicles have gained popularity in rural areas due to their cost-effectiveness and superior performance. The brand has seen significant growth, with monthly sales hitting new records. To seize the opportunities brought by the "Automobiles to the Countryside" initiative, Chang'an launched the "Going to the Countryside" campaign, offering subsidies to farmers who purchase its vehicles. This was followed by a large-scale "100 million yuan subsidy" campaign, implemented through various channels.
In addition, Chang'an has formed strategic alliances with leading home appliance and motorcycle companies, including Sun Rain Solar, six major military motorcycle manufacturers, and TCL Group. These partnerships have helped boost sales and expand market presence. With the rural market as a key focus, Chang'an is accelerating the development and distribution of its micro-vehicles.

Currently, Chang'an Mini-Vehicles are steadily progressing toward their annual target of 600,000 units. The brand has become a pioneer in the domestic auto industry’s push into rural markets, thanks to its proactive strategies, strong product support, and efficient service network.

It is reported that from January to May this year, the cumulative sales of Chang'an mini-vehicles exceeded 350,000 units, already achieving half of the annual target. Since the beginning of the year, under the encouragement of policies promoting small-displacement vehicles and the automobile-to-rural initiative, Chang'an mini-vehicles have outperformed supply. To meet rising demand, a new production base with an annual capacity of one million units has officially broken ground, marking a key step toward Chang'an’s grand strategic goals.
At present, Chang'an Mini-Vehicles are moving forward with confidence, aiming to achieve one million units in annual production and sales by 2012, further realizing its ambitious new blueprint.
