It is an ideal replacement for the original pointer rate factor, phase meter or common digital rate factor and phase meter.
Power factor is a factor that measures the efficiency of electrical equipment. The low power factor indicates that the reactive power of the circuit for alternating magnetic field conversion is large, thereby reducing the utilization rate of the device and increasing the power loss of the line. Too low a power factor can lead to voltage collapse and grid collapse accidents. Principle of digital power factor meter:
On the B2 branch is a purely resistive circuit, the current and voltage are in phase, the B1 branch is a purely inductive circuit (ignoring the action of R1), and the current lag voltage is 90°. When the voltage is turned on, the current through the current coil generates a magnetic field. The strength of the magnetic field is proportional to the current. At this time, the current in the two voltage coils B1, B2 will generate a rotational moment M1 according to the principle that the current carrying conductor is forced in the magnetic field. M2, because the voltage coils B1 and B2 are wound in opposite directions, the torque acting on the meter measuring mechanism is one of the turning moment and the other is the reaction torque. When the two are balanced, they stay at a certain position, as long as the coil and the machine are made. When the angle satisfies a certain relationship, the pointer deflection angle of the meter does not change with the magnitude of the load current and voltage, but only depends on the phase angle of the voltage and current in the load circuit, and the digital power factor meter indicates the power factor in the circuit.
