Wison Engineering Co., Ltd. officially commenced construction in Baoji in the first phase of the 1.5 million-ton/year methanol project of the Xuzhou Mining Group's 1.5 million-ton/year methanol project, which is the first of the Huisheng Project in Shaanxi Province. The coal chemical project is also the first time that the Xuyuan Group has been involved in the coal chemical industry.

After the project is put into production, it will become an important part of the four modern coal chemical industry chains that are planned to be built during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period in Shaanxi Province, focusing on methanol processing. After the completion of the project, the annual production capacity will reach 1.5 million tons. The 600,000-ton-year methanol project started this year is the first-phase project, and it is planned to have the conditions for commissioning by the end of 2012.
