Bridgeview Still Alarm 2-6-13
It was around 1:58 PM on Wednesday when the Bridgeview Fire Department received a call regarding a dryer fire at the Bridgeview Inn Motel located at 10030 S Harlem Ave in Bridgeview, IL 60455. Engine 425 was the first unit to arrive on the scene. Shortly afterward, Ambulance 406 and Engine 405 showed up, followed by Battalion Chief 40. About five minutes later, A426 arrived. Mutual aid was provided by North Palos and Roberts Park Fire Departments. From North Palos, we had Battalion Chief 8, Ladder 804, and Ambulance 8R2. The ambulances were parked across the street on 100th Place. Roberts Park sent over Engine 3R; their Ladder 31 is currently out of service, so they’re operating with a reserve engine. A31 and Battalion Chief 3 also responded.
As Ladder 804 was being set up, we received orders to return due to the situation stabilizing. I managed to snap some photos while I was there.

The whole operation felt pretty intense but went smoothly thanks to everyone’s quick response and coordination. It's always good to see different departments working together effectively during emergencies like this one.
