I recently visited the Posen Fire Department, which has become part of the MABAS Division 22 listings. It’s an impressive setup they have there, with a modern fleet that includes a Pierce engine and a versatile Pierce quint, along with two ambulances, a squad vehicle, and a utility truck. One of their standout pieces of equipment is a historic 1938 antique fire engine, which I haven’t seen in action but would love to learn more about someday. The department also plays a key role in the division by housing both the MABAS Division 22 Decon unit and a communications van, ensuring they’re prepared for any situation.
While I was there, I snapped some photos of their facilities and vehicles. The main station is located at 2440 Walter Zimney Drive, and it’s clear they take pride in their operations. One of the ambulances,ç¼–å· 2802, stood out to me with its clean lines and professional appearance. Another highlight was the Pierce quint, a multifunctional piece of equipment that can handle everything from firefighting to rescue operations.
