Improvement of water pump lubricant filter

Abstract: This paper analyzes the structure of water pump lubricant filter, finds out the existing problems, puts forward the improvement plan and applies it in actual production.
Key words: lube oil filter; structural improvement Water injection pump is the key equipment of secondary recovery of oilfield. Whether the water injection pump can operate normally has a direct impact on the completion of oil production task in oil recovery plant and the energy saving of joint station.

There is a total of 6 water injection equipment at the joint station of the first oil production plant, of which 3 are D300-150 × 10A large pumps of 2000kW and 3 DFl20-180 × 12 high-pressure pumps of 1200kW. Over the years, lubricating oil system failure problems have affected the normal operation of water injection pumps, an average of more than 15 times a year overhaul, each time takes over 3 days, overhaul pump takes more than 45 days each year. Annual maintenance takes a lot of manpower and material resources.

Through careful study and analysis of the design structure and principle of the lubricating oil system, the main problem was found that the structure of the lubricating oil filter was unreasonable, and then it was reformed. After transformation, it is put into production and operation, the effect is very significant, the hidden dangers of accidents are completely eliminated, and the production is guaranteed.

1, the existing problems

Through observation and analysis, it is found that the structure of the original lubricating oil filter is unreasonable, and the following problems exist:

a, disassembly cleaning inconvenience. Because the filter gland is directly connected to the filter outlet line, the entire filter must be removed together with the filter line to clean the filter wick, causing inconvenience to normal maintenance.

b, the whole system more leaks.

c, gland installation can not be put in place. Due to the filter gland pipelines have directional, so that the pressure gland compression and pipeline connections.

d, a small amount of lubricant. Due to the entry of oil from the bottom of the filter, the filter core and filter bottom space is too small, so that the oil flow is small, but can not fully meet the lubrication needs of the lubrication points of the water pump.

2, improve measures

From the above analysis we can see that the main problem lies in the structural defects of the filter gland and filter pipe directly connected to this work out the following solutions:

a, the filter outlet is designed in the upper filter, separate from the filter gland, so as not to demolition wash the entire lubrication line, and to solve the gland can not be tightened, reducing the leakage of lubricating oil.

b, the filter inlet from the bottom of the filter to move to the lower part, so you can increase the oil into the oil space, lubricating oil sufficient, to avoid the problem of insufficient oil supply.

c, add a pressure ring in the upper part of the filter core. So that the filter core in the working state can be fixed, so as not to affect the filter filter effect.

3, the use of results

The technological transformation of the project less investment, simple, without major changes to the lubricating oil system. After the transformation of the filter with good sealing performance and easy maintenance, put into use, completely avoid the problem caused by the oil pump frequently overhaul, greatly reducing the pump frequency, to ensure the completion of the water injection task
