Radial drill guide rail wear how to solve?

Damage to the machine tool rail is one of the factors affecting the accuracy of the radial drilling machine. With regard to the slight grinding and scratching of the machine tool guide rails, it is only necessary to use the Qiao knife or Whetstone to correct it. However, for the gluing damage, it is necessary to use the method of welding or filling to make corrections. Even for a large-area grinding injury, only a relatively large number of rail surfaces need to be preserved, and corrections can also be made in this way.

The welding repair and shimming of the machine tool guide rails are comparatively complicated because of the relative complexity of the technology, especially the correction of the large-area grinding injury. Before the construction, we should consider more details.

First of all, we must consider whether the selected correction technology will affect the accuracy and mechanical performance of the guide rails. For example, the welding and viscosing needs to be warmed up. The temperature in the technical process will cause the deformation of the guide rails. Will it change the guide rail machinery? Strength and appearance hardness.

Second, we should consider the adaptability of the selected correction technology to the rail data. For example, cast iron rails usually do not use cast iron welding because the weldability of the castings is poor, and they are prone to cracks, air holes, etc., and the processing is also difficult. The high temperature of the technical process (gas welding) can easily lead to deformation of the guide rails.

The third point is to consider the mechanical strength of the repair layer itself and the actual working environment of the guide rail. For example, we use the tin-antimony alloy to weld and correct the 4m planer rail and T68 trim rail. Because the smooth condition of the former rail is good, it has been used for 20 years and the situation is still outstanding. The latter is because of poor smooth conditions and poor working environment. In three years it was lost.

In general, it is necessary to make the repair layer meet the necessary application cycle as much as possible.
