Under the influence of multiple favorable factors, the province's auto production resumed rapid growth. According to information from the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, in March, the province’s vehicle output exceeded 100,000 units for the first time, reaching 120,372 units, setting a record high in the province.
Since the beginning of this year, the production and sales of automobiles in our province have gradually recovered. Heavy trucks, light goods vehicles, mini trucks, SUV passenger cars and mini-buses have achieved good growth, and the production situation of major key enterprises has been good. In March, CNHTC produced 18,123 heavy-duty vehicles, an increase of 17.90% year-on-year, and monthly production reached the highest level in history. In the first three months, CNHTC has produced 32,747 heavy-duty vehicles, with a domestic market share of 31.29%, ranking the first in the industry in the country. Statistics show that from January to March, the province produced a total of 275,257 vehicles, an increase of 15.37% year-on-year.
The relevant staff of the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission analyzed that March was the traditional peak season for automobile sales, together with favorable factors such as the country’s expansion of domestic demand, stimulation of consumption, and the start-up of a large number of infrastructure construction projects, which strongly promoted the improvement of the automobile production and sales situation in our province.
