This is from Steve Redick: Steve Redick photo Steve Redick photo Steve Redick photo Steve Redick photo Steve Redick photo Steve Redick photo It was interesting to see how the crews handled the situation, especially with the weather being a bit tricky today. The new Evanston truck looked sharp, and I think it's going to make a big difference in response times. The Skokie tower rebuild is looking solid, and the positioning of the truck was perfect for quick access. I’ll try to get more photos later if there's anything else happening. Stay safe everyone! House fire in Lincolnwood 8-10-12
Today's 6600 Bl Monticello fire... looked like a couple of good rooms on the second floor, but I was way past out when I got there. Overall, it seemed like a solid operation from what I could see. I did spot a member being moved into the Skokie ambulance—didn’t look too bad, but I’m not sure if they were actually transported or just taken for evaluation. Finally got some shots of the new Evanston truck and some images of the Skokie tower post rebuild. The Skokie truck had a great position at the mouth of the alley, and the rig was set up really well for ladder and equipment access.
