Wheeling firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 30 Schoenbeck Road on Tuesday morning, February 27, 2018. Upon arrival, the first engine unit noticed light smoke coming from the rear of the property and immediately began an investigation. They discovered that part of the wooden deck near the house was on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, preventing any damage to the structure. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The responding units included a Rosenbauer Commander fire engine, a fire engine with a hose attached, and a Rosenbauer Commander Cobra tower ladder, all seen on the scene.
