Danaher Motion introduces the latest controller

Danaher Motion, a global leader in motion control solutions, has unveiled the eZMP SynqNet® controller—a powerful, standalone system designed to deliver precise motion control, automation, and user interface functionality. The eZMP is built for industrial computers that offer flexibility, scalability, and future-proof upgrades. With support for 64-axis motion and 17,000-point I/O, it provides robust connectivity through Ethernet, USB, video, and PCI interfaces. As the master controller of the SynqNet motion network, it seamlessly integrates with fast, secure, plug-and-play SynqNet amplifiers and I/O devices. The eZMP is ideal for a wide range of applications, including semiconductor manufacturing, electronics integration, machine tools, general-purpose robotics, and specialized machinery. It combines the advanced capabilities of industrial PCs with real-time 64-bit multi-axis control, offering users a streamlined solution that reduces complexity and enhances performance. Jeff Pike, product line manager for Danaher Motion’s eZMP, stated, "The eZMP brings together the power, flexibility, and connectivity of industrial computing with real-time motion and I/O control. This eliminates the challenges of managing multiple systems, ensuring a more efficient and reliable control solution." Developers can program the eZMP using languages such as Visual Basic, C/C++, C#, or third-party software. It runs on the Windows XPe operating system, providing an open and upgradeable platform for machine control. Additionally, it supports other real-time operating systems, making it adaptable to various industrial needs. The eZMP features built-in interfaces for Ethernet TCP/IP, USB 2.0, device USB, VGA, and serial connections, along with optional PCI expansion for enhanced functionality.
