Apparently, Sugar Grove has decided to part ways with their aerial ladder fire truck and are now putting it up for sale. According to what I’ve been told, this decision came about because the expected commercial development in the initial target area never materialized following the economic downturn. As a result, they’re replacing their aerial ladder truck with a more versatile fire rescue pumper that aligns better with the current needs of the community.
The aerial ladder in question is in fantastic condition, practically brand new, with extremely low mileage. It’s a 2006 Pierce Dash model equipped with a 100-foot platform, making it quite the catch for anyone looking for top-notch firefighting equipment.
