China's first mud pump tanker came out with the opportunity to add new equipment to the oil well equipment

Recently, Nanyang Erji Petroleum Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd. made a significant breakthrough by independently developing and researching the first oil-specific towed mud pump tanker in Canada. The equipment has successfully passed all required tests and received formal acceptance. This innovative product marks a major step forward in the field of oilfield equipment. In oil drilling and workover operations, it's essential to remove sand, sludge, and gas from oil wells through mud circulation. As drilling progresses, various cuttings are brought to the surface. Traditionally, skid-mounted mud tanks have been used for storage, with mud pumps applied to deliver pressure and flow into the annular space around the drill string. However, the new pump tank truck developed by Nanyang Erji’s second machine group offers a more efficient and environmentally friendly solution. Compared to traditional skid-mounted systems, this towed pump tanker is easier to transport and causes less environmental impact. It is designed with sustainability and efficiency in mind, making it a more advanced option for modern oilfield operations. The Canadian-designed pump tank truck consists of four main components: a tractor, semi-trailer, mud tank, and circulation piping. With a total weight of 15 tons and a 35-cubic-meter effective volume, the system is both powerful and compact. During operation, the tractor drives the mud pump, which circulates the fluid into the well. The mud tank helps separate sand and waste, while the deaerator removes harmful gases. In colder conditions, steam manifolds can be used to heat the mud, preventing it from freezing. Once the job is done, the mud can be discharged through front and rear outlets, and the unit can be easily moved to other well sites. This mobility enhances operational flexibility and reduces downtime. The vehicle is highly maneuverable, adaptable to rough terrain, and designed with safety in mind. It also significantly reduces the physical workload for on-site workers, improving overall efficiency and working conditions. Experts believe that this successful development fills a critical gap in China’s domestic petroleum equipment industry. It not only enhances the country’s technical capabilities but also strengthens its position in the global oilfield equipment market. This innovation represents a new chapter in the evolution of oil well technology and opens up exciting possibilities for future advancements.
